Protection from sudden temperature changes is ensured by the pressure-balanced valve cartridge included with this kit. It maintains a consistent shower temperature by balancing the pressure of hot and cold water, preventing sudden changes in temperature from occurrences like toilet flushing or running appliances.

The box includes both the valve body and cartridge, so all you need to complete your shower transformation is a Peerless shower trim kit (sold separately). The kit features 1/2-inch female IPS inlets and outlets that can accept PEX or CPVC adapters.

For multi-unit buildings, this kit has back-to-back installation capabilities, making it convenient for installation in such settings.
